English Language Institute
on West Main Street, between Old Oak & Hillside roads, Newark
Constructed in c. 1903

This historic house, acquired by UD in 1961, was built by Alfred A. Curtis (Curtis Paper Mill family) about 1903. It was used for many years for special interest housing and was renovated in 1992 for use by the University's English Language Institute. Listed on the National Register of Historic Sites.
