Constructed in 1997

This world-class, state-of-the-art facility, dedicated in 1997, was supported by federal and state funds, private gifts, including those from the poultry industry and Charles C. Allen, Jr., for whom the facility is named. The facility conducts research in support of the Delmarva Peninsula's billion-dollar poultry industry.
