George Read Hall
off Route 896, on David Hollowell Drive & Christiana Drive, Newark
Constructed in 2005

This 500-bed residence hall is named in honor of George Read, one of the Delawareans who signed both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. He was a student of the Rev. Francis Alison, founder of the institution that is now the University of Delaware.
