Academy of Newark Building (Office of Public Relations)
on the corner of East Main & Academy streets (105 East Main St.), Newark
Constructed in 1843

Home of the Academy of Newark, predecessor to UD, this building was built in three components in 1843, 1844 and 1870. The building and the assets of the Academy of Newark were officially transferred to the University in 1976. Today, it houses the Office of Public Relations.
