at the west end of Wyoming Road, Newark
Constructed in 1965

Gilbert Complex is named in memory of the Rev. Eliphalet Wheeler Gilbert, the first (1834-35) and third (1840-47) president of Delaware College. The complex contains housing for 654 students. In the central building there are lounges and recreation rooms.
