Memorial Hall (MEM)
off South College Avenue in the center of The Green, Newark
Constructed in 1924

Erected by the citizens of Delaware as the state's memorial of World War I, it served as the University Library from 1924-63. It underwent a major $9.8 million 15-month renovation in 1999 and now houses the Department of English. Listed on the National Register of Historic Sites.
