Brown Laboratory (BRL)
on The Green, next to Memorial Hall, Newark
Constructed in 1937

Brown Laboratory is named in memory of H. Fletcher Brown, a member of the Board of Trustees, (1929-44) and a benefactor. The building houses the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. This building will is now undergoing a major renovation of the west and north wings.
